Dr. SanathHettige (MBBS, DFM, MD, FCGP) Chief Scientist of Oil of Dermae Laboratories holds the patent rights in Sri Lanka for three processes for commercially preparing papaya leaf extract for dengue fever patients and other relevant diseases proven for its benefits. The capsules are produced commercially in our own ayurvedic research laboratory.

Dr. SanathHettige won the Presidential Award for best medical invention for 2013 at the Presidential award ceremony held on the 5th of February 2016 for his invention of papaya leaf syrup, tablets and capsules for the treatment of dengue fever and other medical conditions and the Silver Award for Papaya Leave Capsule at the International fair at Bangalore , India.
